ADC Part One – Written Exam Course

​The Australian Dental Council (ADC) Part One Written Examination is the second stage in the assessment process for overseas-qualified dentists seeking registration in Australia. This computer-based exam evaluates candidates’ knowledge of dental science and their clinical judgment relevant to Australian dental practice. Held twice annually, typically in March and September, the examination spans two consecutive days and comprises 280 scenario-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs). These questions are designed to assess a candidate’s ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical, clinical contexts. Successful completion of this exam is a prerequisite for progressing to the Part Two practical examination stage.
